Heurich Happenings

This year each meet-up will focus on a different topic and be hosted by a member of the group! The host will pose a series of discussion questions and share their experience on the topic. Of course, all discussions are welcome and encouraged even if they are not on topic!

As the city blooms for the National Cherry Blossom festival from March 20th to April 14th, celebrate “City in Bloom” in the museum’s biergarten. If you happened to stop by 1921, a biergarten on the third Wednesday evening of the month during the summer you might have been surprised by what you saw. In addition to the usual craft beverages you might find beads, scissors, mod podge and decorative papers spread across the tables and people chatting away with neighbors they may not have known an hour ago.

You know what pairs well? Craft Beer + Garden Crafts. This summer at 1921, a Biergarten, join us for a local craft beverage and free crafting every third Wednesday from 4-8pm.

Since the 1970s, Dupont Circle has been one of DC's “gayborhoods." Today, it is home to the Capital Pride block party and parade. Celebrate all month long at 1921, a Biergarten  with Pride beers, rainbow crafts, history from Rainbow History Project, music, and games. Use us as a landing place for pre- and post-parade festivities.
