Christmas Markt continues the legacy of the Heurich House. It builds upon the home's 130+ years of craftspeople and makers - those who designed, built, and decorated the historic home, and those who the museum has helped to elevate their crafts over the last decade.

Christmas Markt is an incubator. Maker businesses generate the majority of their revenue during the last quarter of the year. During Christmas Markt we only work with newer businesses, which are the most reliant on holiday season sales to make ends meet.

Christmas Markt is a celebration! The intimate garden setting facilitates conversations between visitors and with the makers from whom they’re shopping. People leave the markt feeling invigorated about the joy, resilience, and creativity of our city.

In 2025, our group of vendors was the most diverse in the event’s 12 year history.
