Join local maker Alina Liao from Zenit Journals for our next Maker-Led Workshop: Sketchbook & Journal Binding on Friday, September 26th from 6-8pm in the Heurich House Museum’s conservatory! 

Learn how to hand-bind your own book and select from a variety of fabrics to add a finishing touch to the cover. 

 

Spooky Cozy Season Clay Earrings with Abloom Earrings

Thursday, October 2nd | 6pm - 8pm

Join local maker Brianna Kumar from Abloom Earrings for a Spooky Cozy Season Clay Earrings workshop on Thursday, October 2nd from 6-8pm in the Heurich House Museum’s conservatory! 

In this workshop participants will get to make two pairs of spooky and cozy themed clay earrings. Brianna will walk guests through the process of designing, baking, and assembling the earrings. A variety of fun pre-mixed clay colors will be provided and participants will be encouraged to use their creativity to make their own unique pairs!

 

Scraps & Stories: Patch Making with Pathwork Studio

Friday, October 17th | 6pm - 8pm

Join local maker Megan King from Pathwork Studio for a Scraps & Stories: Patch Matching on Friday, October 17th from 6-8pm in the Heurich House Museum’s conservatory! 

In this beginner-friendly workshop to learn the craft of visible mending and patch-making using fabric scraps and simple hand-stitching techniques. Together, we’ll explore how repairing your clothes can also be a form of self-expression -- each stitch a chance to make something more personal, more meaningful, and more you. No experience needed.

 

Wear your Bicycle Home with Cycle Killer

Friday, November 14th | 6pm - 8pm

Join local maker Henry Dunbar from Cycle Killer Accessories for "Wear you Bicycle Home" on Friday, November 14th from 6-8pm in the Heurich House Museum’s conservatory! 

Participants will make up to three distinct items to wear using recycled bicycle parts. Learn how to make a belt from a tire & chain and a bow tie (or hair bow) and keychain from inner tubes.
